Public Works Department
The public works department is responsible for the maintenance of buildings, parks, streets, & public lands within the city and the water utility system.
Under the supervision of the public works director, the public works employees maintain thr repair of streets, the grounds maintenance, upkeep of right of ways, and the repair and maintenance of the water distribution system. The public works director reports to the city manager.
The parks & recreation employees maintain the softball and baseball complex, recreational areas, & grounds maintenance.
