Lien Search
The City of Fruitland Park City Commission enacted Ordinance 2014-008 Lien Search Fees requiring a fee to be charged in association with all lien search requests made to the city. When requesting information relating to utilities, code violations, open permits, special assessments on a property within the City of Fruitland Park, a lien search may take up to five (5) business days to complete.
REGULAR LIEN SEARCH: $ 30.00 three to five (3-5) business days excluding weekends and public holidays
RUSH LIEN SEARCH: $ 50.00 one to two (1-2) business days excluding weekends and public holidays
In the event a request is made during a weekend or public holiday, the city will begin the lien search the following business day up to the timeframe outlined above to complete the request. All requests are contingent on the day the request and proper payment is received. Payments must be accompanied with a lien search request form or a letter provided by the lien requester detailing the property location and items desired to be searched; otherwise, the city will not be able to process the request.

CREDIT/DEBIT CARD Please complete the attached Credit Card Authorization Form to process credit/debit cards ONLY and not a lien request. All card transactions are for the convenience of our customers and a service fee of 3.5% is assessed at the time of the transaction.
