LIBRARY YOUTH SERVICES COORDINATOR
Responsibilities & Duties: The primary responsibility of this position is the coordination and implementation of the Library's services for children and teens; pre-school through 12th grade. Develop and implement a wide variety of children/teen programs. Must be self-motivated. Duties include working the circulation desk, shelving books and including but not limited to general library duties.
Requirements: Excellent communication skills with children, tens and adults, excellent computer skills, ability to reach shelves, stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds. Associate's Degree or three (3) years of library experience preferred. Previous experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Hours: Full time position/40 hours weekly which may include evenings and weekends.
Salary: $14.00 per hour, based on experience plus full benefits. Library or bookstore experience desired.
